Birthdays – Send a voice or video (if you can), use their name. Remember to keep it short, sweet and personable.  The only thing you are after here is to connect to friends.

What It Means:

The “Green Dot” refers to the little green indicator next to someone’s name in Facebook Messenger, showing they’re currently active and online. This is your cue—they’re available, and it’s the perfect time to reach out.

1. Open Messenger and look for 5 people with the green dot next to their name. These are your real-time opportunities for connection.
2. Send a personal message — Not spam, not a sales pitch. Just a friendly, casual message to spark conversation.
   Example Openers:
   • “Hey [Name], saw you online and wanted to say hey! How’s life treating you lately?”
   • “You popped up on my messenger—had to check in! 😊 What’s new with you?”

• Rotate who you message each day—don’t send messages to the same 5 people over and over.
• After they reply, keep the convo flowing naturally. Let it lead to connection first, then conversation about life, and eventually maybe conversation about business.
